Omung Kumar's latest directorial venture 'Sarbjit' has already created quite a buzz amongst movie buffs as it brings together two fine performers - Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda.

Last week Aishwarya was spotted shooting for her upcoming film and pictures from her schedule at a Sikh shrine (gurudwara) have been doing the rounds of social media.

Aishwarya Rai fan club shared pictures of the 42-year-old actress cooking and cleaning at the gurudwara as a sevadhar (helper).

The curiosity surrounding 'Sarbjit' is all set to receive a new lease of life. In an exciting development, the film's latest poster has been released.

India's ruling political party BJP's president Amit Shah launched the first poster of the film in presence of the producers, director and casts.

Aishwarya is seen in a de-glam avatar, sporting a troubled look of a struggling sister battling for her brother's release from a Pakistan jail.

The actress plays the role of Dalbir Kaur, Sarabjit Singh's sister. The film is a biopic on Indian convict Sarabjit Singh, who was beaten to death in a Pakistani jail.

Besides Aishwarya and Randeep, the movie also features upcoming actress Richa Chadda in the lead.

Interestingly, this is Omung’s second directorial venture slated to release on May 19 in the UAE. He had previously helmed the Priyanka Chopra starrer biopic 'Mary Kom'.
