The wait is over! On Tuesday, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will return to the studio to face movie camera for Sanjay Gupta's 'Jazbaa'.

After her self-imposed sabbatical the actress is returning to a lawyer in her comeback film.

The actress was last seen on screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Guzaarish' in 2010.

She then shot for Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Heroine' in June 2011 but her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan's Twitter announcement that she was four months pregnant, was followed by her exit from the project.

'Jazbaa' is based on Korean crime drama 'Seven Days'.

For the first few days the crew will be filming in a closed set to avoid curious stares and give Aishwarya the space she needs to get into her character.

The director has already conducted a script reading session with all the actors of the movie, including Aishwarya, Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher.

In an interview with Ahmedabad Mirror, director Sanjay Gupta revealed all details of the first day shoot on Tuesday.

"It will be a 9 AM to 9 PM shoot on Tuesday. Joining Aishwarya will be Irrfan Khan who has already started shooting for the film.

"The scenes between the two will be regular but since this is not a candy floss romance, they will be pretty intense.

"Aishwarya is well prepped for a role she has never enacted before."

Sanjay's been taking cues from Madhu Gadodia, the senior partner of his law film, Naik Naik & Co., as well as Nandini Mehta from J. Sagar Associates for his movie.

All the interactions, observing the lawyers have been compiled into the research material which has been given to Aishwarya.

The movie will have lot of courtroom drama and the information will come in handy.
