It seems Mother Nature is playing cruel tricks on the aerobatic stunt pilots once again, who were to take to the skies today for the annual Al Ain Aerobatic Show later today.

After the show being postponed by a day already, the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and the UAE Armed Forces have decided to delay takeoff by yet another day, citing bad weather conditions. So the three-day air spectacle, which was originally set to fly on February 2, will now gain altitude on February 4.

According to a statement issued by the show organisers, the weather is expected to improve over the weekend, so the show will go ahead on Friday and Saturday instead, shrinking by a day.

As a response to the delayed start, the show will now be open from 10am to 6.30pm, with gates opening from 9am on both days. Tickets purchased for Wednesday and Thursday are valid for the weekend and online ticket sales will be extended until 6pm today.

This year’s Al Ain Aerobatic Show is set to be the biggest and best yet, with more than 15 aerobatic and display teams from three continents taking part, complemented by a wide range of on-the-ground family activities.
