Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of late singing legend Whitney Houston, is fighting for her life after she was pulled unconscious from a bathtub over the weekend, her family said.
The 21-year-old's friend found her non-responsive in the bathtub of her home near Atlanta, Georgia late last month (31.01.15) in an incident with eerie echoes of her mother's drowning in a Los Angeles tub in 2012.
Now TMZ reports that family of Bobbi Kristina is discussing her funeral plans amidst several disagreements.
Kristina's father, Bobby Brown's family are upset with the Houstons and not willing to be treated badly at her funeral.
Houston family security set up a perimeter around Bobbi Kristina's room shortly after she was taken to the hospital and there was a passcode to gain entrance.
Many people in the Brown family were not given the code and it caused an uproar.
Bobby Brown has gotten wind of these discussions and he immediately shuts everyone down.
Sources connected with the Brown family tell TMZ they refuse to be disrespected the way they feel they were at Whitney's funeral.
During Whitney's funeral Bobby Brown stormed out of the funeral after security refused to let him sit with Bobbi Kristina during the service. Houstons were also angry that he dared to bring 9 members of his family with him.
Whitney Houston died in February 2012 when she was found in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on the eve of the music industry's annual Grammy Awards show.
Coroners concluded she died by accidental drowning, with cocaine use and heart disease as contributing factors.
In other news, friends of Bobbi Kristina Brown are to hold a public vigil.
Pals of the 21-year-old aspiring singer - who is in a medically-induced coma - are to stage the event at the Amphitheater at Riverdale Town Center in Riverdale, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta on Monday night (09.02.15).
Family members are not expected to be in attendance as they are likely to keep a bedside vigil 20 miles away at Emory University Hospital, where Bobbi is on life support.
The vigil, which is being called Shining a Light of Healing for Bobbi Kriss, is open to the public and will start at 7pm local time at the amphitheater, where Bobbi's father, Bobby Brown, once headlined a concert.
Members of the Riverdale community are being encouraged to take lights and signs along to show their support for Bobbi.
Monica Palmer, a longtime family friend, admitted the star's relatives have been trying everything to encourage her to wake up.
She told news channel Fox 5: "They pray, they sing songs, they're really supportive.
"The mood is kind of somber. Just wanting and waiting for her to wake up."
Bobbi's family are said to be praying for God to perform a "miracle" after there was "no change" in her condition.
A family member told PEOPLE: "We are hoping that God will see fit to perform a miracle in her, so that he will get the glory.
"Everyone is praying; we have laid hands on Krissi and have been praying for a miracle. I don't know why that is so controversial. If it were your child, you would do the same thing. Where there is life, there is hope."
