Barcelona's Pique scores for Milan, Shakira credits son
Pop singer Shakira gave birth to a baby boy Milan Piqué Mebarak and proudly announced the new arrival both on Twitter and her official website.
The very next day Milan brought good luck to father Gerard Pique who scored a goal to see Barcelona set up a thrilling Copa semi-final with rivals Real.
Pique struck Malaga with a well-taken goal in the second half and celebrated the goal sucking his thumb and dedicating it to his newborn son Milan.
After the match the proud father posted a picture and wrote: "Happy to score the goal! Milan's first goal!"
The mother followed suit and tweeted: "Milan's already brought us good luck!"

The Colombian pop superstar and her Spanish footballer beau, Gerard Piqué, cracked big smiles on Sunday as they were snapped leaving the Barcelona hospital where she gave birth to son five days earlier.
A swarm of paparazzi surrounded the positively radiant twosome's chauffeured car, which drove them back to Piqué's posh residence.
Shakira couldn't hide her delight as she beamed while sitting in the backseat of the car and looked glossy with her blonde locks coming down from under her hat.
There was no sign of her little bundle of joy—so it looks like fans will have to wait a while longer for the big reveal (maybe the inevitable magazine cover?).
However, a day after Milan's arrival, Shakira's boyfriend did post a picture of the 1-day-old's little feet already laced up in miniature Nike sneakers with his name on them.
We imagine it won't be long before he's playing for FC Barcelona like his dad.
