As expected Indian reality show 'Bigg Boss 8' finale gave us an interesting blend of action, romance, drama and suspense.

The stage and the house turned into a dance set, courtroom and a salon for the final episode.

The top five contestants - Karishma Tanna, Gautam Gulati, Pritam Singh, Dimpy and Ali Quli Mirza - had a lot of special treats and grilling sessions.

Host Farah Khan showed a brief video montage of each 'Bigg Boss 8' contestants and then entered the house to give them a makeover.

Malaika Arora Khan's performance with Dimpy Ganguly and Karishma Tanna was not impressive at all.

The five ffinalists got emotional when their family showed their support and spoke about their achievements in a video message.

Next, 'Dabangg' actress Sonakshi Sinha entered the house to entertain the final five.

Dancers dressed as police officers accompanied Sonakshi for a mashup of songs from her movies.

Sonakshi then played a video montage of the highs and lows of Karishma Tanna in the house with emphasis on Upen Patel.

A video parody about Dimpy's cry baby image and the tactics she employed to win support out of sympathy brought laughter.

The house was also transformed into the set of television show 'Aap Ki Adalat' ('Your Court') where journalist/news anchor Rajat Sharma grilled the contestants.

If Sonakshi and Malaika's performances were not enough, Rohit Shetty came by to promote his reality show 'Khatron Ke Khilade Darr Ka Blockbuster'.

Contestants from the 'Fear Factor' modeled show - Sana Khan, Hussain and Ashish Chaudhary danced to a Bollywood mashup of songs.

The last three finalists - Kariahma Tanna, Gautam Gulati and Pritam Singh were then introduced to the last twist of the show.

Farah Khan informed them that one of the contestants can take Rs 25 lakh (INR) and leave the show.

Pritam grabbed the opportunity while the camera focused on Pritam's wife's outrage on his decision.

After 132 days of over-acting, drama and failed romance Gautam Gulati was declared as the winner of season 8.

Gautam shared his winning moment with his brother Mohit Gulati. He later partied with his brother, Diandra Soares, Puneet Issar and Mahek Chahal to celebrate his win.
