Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna dies from cancer

The legendary veteran Bollywood actor, Vinod Khanna, has reportedly passed away in Mumbai on Thursday morning.

The actor was reportedly suffering from bladder cancer.

He is survived by his wife and four children, including actors Akshaye and Rahul Khanna.

Earlier this month, news of the senior Khanna’s ill health grabbed headlines when a leaked photo of a frail looking actor from a hospital room shocked the industry and fans.

The 70-year-old Khanna was also a sitting Member of Parliament in India, while his last film outing was 2015’s ‘Dilwale’.

The Indian film industry led the outpouring of grief, with friends and fellow actors Rishi Kapoor and Anupam Kher posting poignant messages for their one-time ‘pal’.
