'Satyamev Jayate'- truth alone prevails, this is what Bollywood actor Aamir Khan believes in and is putting all his time, money and might on.

Aamir Khan wants this show to be different from other reality show and 'Satyamev Jayate' is said to be a talk show where Khan will bring up discussions about social issues affecting the country.

But no one really knows what Khan is up to. The format of the show is the best kept secret in Bollywood and Indian television till now.

There is a twist in the treatment of the show which will be revealed only on May 6 when the show goes on-air.

Even before its launch the show is creating quite a stir and people are getting intrigued by the secrecy surrounding it. The interest level is heightened with Aamir Khan's association with a reality show which will mark his debut on small screen.

The brand Aamir Khan spells quality, perfection and professionalism.

'Satyamev Jayate' will create history by becoming the first ever programme to go live simultaneously on a private channel (Star Plus) and Indian national broadcaster DD1.

Telecasting the show in five different Indian languages - Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Telegu and Tamil, Aamir Khan has already ensured a mass viewership.

Aamir has kicked off the promotional gig and visual teasers of the show are aired quite frequently on the channel.

In one of the promotional clip Aamir Khan talks about touching hearts of his countryman and bringing about change.

At a time when there is an uprising against corruption and an upsurge for change in Indian, there couldn't have been a better time for Khan to come up with a show which is for and about the common man.

The concept of show was waiting to be picked up but needed a Aaimr Khan to be delivered.

Such human interest show needed not just planning and execution but also marketing that a master strategist like him could bring about.

Recently, reports of Khan being invited by an auto rickshaw driver to his son's wedding and the actor accepting the invitation can be a perfect promotional tactic. Such humble gestures will garner Khan more audiences.

Khan has travelled extensively over several weeks to various places in Indian bringing together human interest stories that will evoke love for the nation and national integrity.

Covering the length and breadth of the country he visited Rajasthan, Kashmir, Kerala, Delhi, Punjab and several North-Eastern states.

Aamir Khan and music director Ram Sampath have created roughly 16 songs to go with each of the episodes.

Aamir Khan will also launch a music album once the show comes to an end.

It is rumoured that Aamir has delayed the release of his movie 'Talaash' and 'Dhoom 3' from going into production for this reality show.

We hope Aamir Khan's gamble with 'Satyamev Jayate' pays off.
