The media was in for a pleasant surprise, and no it wasn’t an offering of a slice of Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday cake at his mega affair last evening.
Bouncing up on stage, along with the jubilant family, was none other than the elusive Aaradhya Bachchan, minus her trademark bonnet and mom Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s hand to shield her face from intrusive shutterbugs.
Trigger happy media folks flashed their cameras while the young mite appeared a little stunned with the spotlight in her face and a sea of strangers, possibly.
Shuttling between her proud mama and grandmother Jaya Bachchan, the 11-month stunner was dressed in all white, with a little bib and a bow in her hair.
The clear picture of her broke on Twitter in the late hours, sparking a frenzy amongst social media fans.
Beaa Beaa tweeted: “That’s what I was waiting for: Aishwarya and Aaradhya.”
Varsha Ro said: “This picture is so cute.”
Ruth wrote: “Abhishek you looked super dapper today with your beautiful wife and Aaradhya is adorable.”
Aaradhya’s unveiling still did not take away from last night’s mega event, where her grandfather and superstar Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 70th birthday, with his entire family and over 900 well wishers from the film fraternity, along with industrialists and politicians.
