Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen together for the first time on screen in a film which will be directed by veteran filmmaker Yash Raj Chopra.

"Launching my dad's film today with a little pooja at YRF... shoot starts tomorrow with @ iamsrk and Katrina Kaif.. Dad directing after Veer- Zaara (sic)," tweeted Yash Chopra's son Uday Chopra.

Yash Chopra, the director of epic love stories, is ready to don the director’s cap after a gap of eight years.

The untitled romantic film will have a panoramic sweep and will be shot in India, London and Thailand. In India, Shah Rukh and Katrina will travel to Kashmir for some part of the shoot.

The film also stars Anushka Sharma, who has become a Yash Raj favourite after debuting with 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' opposite SRK.

According to India Today the lyrics will be penned down by Gulzar and composer AR Rahman will deliver the music.

Shah Rukh Khan had a busy 2011 with his last two releases 'Ra.One' and 'Don 2'.

2012 will be a Khan'ful' year for Katrina Kaif, all courtesy Yash Raj Films. She’s already been shooting for 'Ek Tha Tiger' with Salman Khan.

And she’ll be seen doing stunts and flirting with Aamir Khan in 'Dhoom 3'. But what everyone is waiting to see is Katrina Kaif’s pairing with Shah Rukh Khan.

It might be noted that Yash Chopra had announced his retirement about seven years ago when his film 'Veer Zaara'. And now that he’s returning to direction after such a long gap, one expects nothing short of a cinematic masterpiece from him.

Priyanka Chopra unwell and misses event

Priyanka Chopra (GETTY/GALLO)

Priyanka Chopra, who was supposed to perform at an event organised for the Mumbai police, abruptly left the show, leaving many disappointed.

The actress, who was supposed to perform on stage, had an alarming bout of dizziness and almost collapsed.

In fact, she was left so weak that she had to skip her act and was rushed home immediately.

Priyianka, it seems, made a discreet exit barely minutes after having arrived, even before stepping upon the stage.

Spectators were wondering why she left the venue in such a haste and why did she not perform.

Her staff also stopped photographers from clicking pictures of her exit.

Priyanka’s spokesperson said she wasn’t well. She had low blood pressure, and made her exit after taking the organisers’ consent, as reported by Mumbai Mirror.

Priyanka has been working non-stop and travelling all across the globe. Priyanka has just completed 'RA.One', 'Don 2' and currently working on 'Agneepath', 'Teri Meri Kahani' 'Barfee'.

In-between juggling shoot schedules, hopping across the globe for events and possibly too much emotional stress has left Priyanka Chopra not in the pink of her health.

Bollywood birthday boy and girls for the day....

It happens to be Farhan Akhtar's birthday today. And he shares this date with cousin Farah Khan and Kalki Koechlin. It's Farhan's 38th birthday while Farah turns 47.

In a world where even the proverbial 'jack of all trades' is fast becoming a rarity, here is a man who is not just a jack, but Master of all trades. He is none other than Bollywood's very own Boy Wonder Farhan Akhtar.

Born to celebrity parents-Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani, it’s only recently that Bollywood woke up to the magical powers of its latest 'It' boy!

Even though, Farhan could have chosen an easy way out, he chose the 'hard working' way to success! That explains the reason as to why he started his career by working as an apprentice at the early age of 17, which was followed up by doing multiple jobs; assisting directors and cinematographers.

Farhan Akhtar made his writing and directorial debut with the mega smash hit flick ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, which escalated the careers of practically everyone associated with it. His latest movie 'Don 2' crossed the magic 100 cr mark.

The lady who started from being a background dancer in a movie, has now come to co-own a production house, has 3 films to her directorial credit and 6 Filmfare awards for choreography on her shelf. But at 47, Farah Khan can easily say she has done it all.

Farah Khan is a specialist choreographer and has even been a successful director with films like ‘Om Shanti Om’ and the very recent ‘Tees Maar Khan’.

Farah Khan has choreographed more than 100 songs in around 80 films so far. Farah’s first film as a choreographer was ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’. The song 'Pehla Nasha' is still remembered vividly and seems as fresh as ever.

Farah had married Shirish in 2004 and they were blessed with triplets in 2008, one son – Czar and two daughters – Anya and Diva.

Stunning Kalki Koechlin turns 29. Kalki was born to French parents in a small village in Pondicherry. She studied at Hebron School in Ooty and later sent to Goldsmiths, University of London to study drama and theatre.  Just a few films old Kalki is a known name in the industry.

Kalki made her acting debut in 2009 with 'Dev D'. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Kalki won loads of accolades for her performance. She also won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film.

Her next film 'The Film Emotional Atyachar' failed to impress audiences. She was than seen in 'Shaitan'. 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' saw Kalki in a glamorous role.

Known for experimenting with films, Kalki was next seen in 'That Girl in Yellow Boots'. It was written by Kalki and her husband Anurag Kashyap.

Kalki and Anurag got married in April 2011.

Kalki was last seen in 'My Friend Pinto' with Prateik.
