Jagga Jasoos: Katrina Kaif starts shooting

After a series of issues with the makers of Jagga Jasoos, Katrina Kaif has finally relented and is shooting for Jagga Jasoos.

The film is slated for a release in May, 2017, but the makers are not tom-tomming the release date as yet.

Having said that Katrina has flown in from Austria and is finishing her last bits of the shoot for the Anurag Basu directed film produced by Basu and Ranbir Kapoor, co-starring her former lover Ranbir.

It was a clash of egos between Ranbir and Katrina post their break up that had held up the film. Basu shot some portions of the film recently at a suburban Mumbai studio using duplicates of the actors. Ranbir was so upset and hung up that he had to shoot with a duplicate of Katrina, that he himself opted out and asked for a duplicate for himself too.

Left with no option, but to wrap up his film and get his monies out, basu relented and shot with duplicates.

And now with Katrina having returned to the shoot, Basu is quickly shooting with the actress, lest she changes her mind yet again.

Katrina incidentally shared this picture on her official Facebook page saying that she has returned to the Jagga Jasoos shoot.

After a lull in her career having done flop films with younger actors like Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, Katrina is now moving back to the older actors with films opposite Salman and Shah Rukh Khan. It is also being said that even Hrithik Roshan wants to work with her in her next film.

In the meantime, we await the release of Jagga Jasoos. The last film star starred Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif was Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani which was a hit of sorts. Interestingly another former lover of Katrina Kaif - Salman Khan played himself in the Rajkumar Santoshi directed film.
