Salman Khan hates 'Bollywood'

MUMBAI: Mumbai is the hub of Indian film industry, known the world over as Bollywood but leading actor Salman Khan says the name is "disgusting".

"Hate this name, Bollywood. Koi naam hai kya? Disgusting," Khan tweeted.

The word 'Bollywood' is commonly used for the Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai and is often incorrectly used to refer to the whole of Indian cinema.

CALIFORNIA: Hollywood actress Sharon Stone has shown she still has a saucy side, as she stripped to her bra during a trip to a hair salon.

The 52-year-old who has stripped on-screen for her role in Basic Instinct and Sliver, proved she is still not shy about her body by removing her shirt at the Point de Vue salon in Beverly Hills, California.

Stone visited the salon to have her locks trimmed, but was photographed in just a bra top and trousers before putting on a blue robe for her restyle.
 
Near miss for Ranbir...

MUMBAI: Ranbir escaped being caught at Katrina's house; as he left just before the IT officials came knocking, reports Mid-Day.

While Shahid Kapoor was found in Priyanka Chopra's flat the morning of the IT raids (January 24), Ranbir Kapoor escaped being caught at girlfriend Katrina Kaif's flat, as he left a couple of hours before the IT officials arrived.

A source told the daily, "Apparently, Ranbir and Katrina have been meeting almost every night at her place after he finishes his workouts at a gym nearby.

That night too (the night before the raids on January 23), RK came over a little after 10 pm and spent some time with her."

The daily also quoted the same source as saying, the Kapoor boy was with Kat till 4 am in the morning. "He has been out of town for almost two months so the couple caught up on lost time.

They were together till the wee hours of the morning when finally Ranbir left, as he wanted to go home and freshen up. The IT officials came to Kat's home at around 6 am."

The source feels that Ranbir is lucky to have left earlier or he too would have been caught with Katrina like Shaks was with PC when the IT officials arrived.

Kidman emotionally damaged after split from Cruise

AUSTRALIA: Actress Nicole Kidman, who has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, says her split from him in 2001 had left her emotionally damaged.

Kidman separated from the Hollywood star after 10 years of marriage.

"We were very, very tight and that's why we lasted 10 years which is a good amount of time, particularly when you get married at 23. That was a great relationship. I think it ran its course," a website quoted her as saying.

She now lives away from the spotlight in Nashville with husband Keith Urban and their two daughters. But the actress claims she often felt forced into being a celebrity during her marriage to Cruise.

EGYPT: Wedding bells are ringing for Celina Jaitley. She will be Mrs Peter Haag on September 23 at a very private wedding in Egypt, where only the couple's family and close friends will be present.

Earlier last month, the actress had denied all rumours of a wedding before 2012, stating work as the reason. Hence, her decision to finally take the plunge just months after the couple got engaged has come as surprise to all.

The wedding will take place in Egypt despite the anti-government unrest in the country. Incidentally, Jaitley is the country's tourism ambassador.
