If Anil Kapoor took away what was destined for Shah Rukh Khan in Danny Boyle’s ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, here’s Shah Rukh Khan settling the scores in Anurag Kashyap’s next film ‘Allwyn Kalicharan’.
Not many would remember a svelte looking Anil Kapoor with gelled hair in the test photoshoot for the Tutu Sharma-produced film. But then Kashyap and Sharma had fallen out after ‘Paanch’ and Kapoor went ahead and used the same look in his film ‘Chocolate’.
Kashyap was peeved and refused to work with the big stars for a while. And now after directing Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Bombay Velvet’, the director is ready to take on Shah Rukh Khan in his next film called ‘Allwyn Kalicharan’.
‘Allwyn Kalicharan’ is set in the future when the economy has crashed and no one is keen on working or resurrecting their lives. They thrive on pleasure and sleep all day and enjoy at night.
We are being informed by reliable sources that Phantom Films, partly owned by Kashyap will produce the film in association with SRK’s company.
