Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted visiting Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s office one after the other leading to speculations about them being cast together in a film yet again.
While it is not known if the film was for a movie being just produced or even directed by Chopra. Vinod Chopra has not directed a Hindi film for a while now, but has been busy with his production ventures only.
His last release as a director was an English film called Broken Horses starring Anton Yelchin, Vincent D’Onofrio and Chris Marquette. Broken Horses lost the race at the turnstiles.
His last Hindi film made in 2007 called Ekalavya: The Royal Guard starred Amitabh Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan and also failed at the box office.
Coming back to the couple, Ranbir and Deepika have starred in two films post their break up – the Karan Johar produced Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani which was a humungous hit while Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha made a spectacle of itself at the marquee.
Ranbir and Deepika have earlier starred in Yash Raj Films’ Bachna Ae Haseeno which was an average grosser.
Ranbir has been essaying the role of Sanjay Dutt in the Dutt biopic which is also being backed by Chopra for his favourite director Rajkumar Hirani. Hence his meetings haven’t raised many eyebrows. But then Deepika’s visit set the gossip mills working all over again.
