Hurley aims to 'tame' Warne

She left the Australian shores upset at Warne's cheating ways, but Hurley still sees herself as the woman to "tame" the cricketing legend.
 
Following a trip to Melbourne spent with Warne, model and actress Hurley is back in Britain with a spring in her step and thoughts of a future with the 41-year-old former spin bowler, London's Sunday Mirror newspaper reports.

The unnamed "friend" of Hurley's told the paper: "With Shane, Liz feels like she's found somebody she could be with for the rest of her life.

"A possible husband too. She wanted fun injected back into her life - and that's what she has found with Shane."

The comments come after news that while wooing 45-year-old Hurley, Warne was seeing a porn actress, 26-year-old Chloe Conrad.

"It sounds like a cliche, but Liz thinks she can tame him," the friend said.

"She honestly couldn't be happier. She thinks she's found a guy on the same wavelength. She's got a spring in her step now and it's great to see her full of life once more."

The former face of Estee Lauder last year ended her four-year marriage to Arun Nayer and has an eight-year-old son from a former relationship.

Warne has three children, and Hurley's friend says they are struggling to come to terms with the pair's relationship.

"They're very upset about the fact Shane and their mother split up and (are) struggling with it all," the Sunday Mirror quoted the friend as saying.

"Children and teenagers tend to see the world in black or white terms. But they acted very maturely and managed to be civil to Liz when they met.

"But they were very sombre, and Shane noticed they weren't happy.

"Liz expected it to be hard - they're not going to like her overnight. But she really has fallen for their dad and wants to make it work."

Warne and Hurley have had a very public relationship, with news of their dating emerging through their use of social networking medium Twitter.

Since news of their relationship emerged, Warne has been linked not only to Conrad but also to a Melbourne businesswoman to whom he is reported to have sent more than 100 raunchy text messages.
