He may be just 16, but Justin Bieber wants to date older women. Or at least, someone his own age.
The Canadian pop star told chat show host Jay Leno last week that he wouldn’t date Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfield because he felt she was too young for him.
“Isn’t she like, 12?” he asked, with Leno replying that the young actress was 15 years old. She’s actually 14.
For Bieber, the gap is too big to bridge. He told Leno: “I'll be 17 in less than a month.”
He added: “I think she’s cute,” but given that he’s had lip-locks with Katy Perry and Rihanna, he’s probably aiming for someone sexier… and older.
The pair appeared together at the The Golden Globes ceremony last week, with Steinfeld towering over Bieber.
The Canadian singer was promoting his new movie “Never Say Never”, a 3D film tells the story of a small-town boy who sees his dreams come true.
