Nicki Minaj booted out of posh London hotel
Rapper Nicki Minaj was thrown out of London's posh Dorchester Hotel on Friday, British media reported.
Fans of the Trinidadian-American proved too much to handle, scribbling graffiti on the inside of the luxurious hotel's elevators.
"Long day of press only to find out we've officially been kicked out the hotel! Lmaoooooooo. Rescue me barbz!!!! Pleeeeeeeasse *martha voice*," she posted on her Twitter page.
The 26-year-old further endeared herself to her fans, or "barbz" as she called them. "U can't have me w/o my barbz! We're a packaged deal!!!!" she said.
When one of her fans asked why the hotel kicked her out, Minaj answered: "Cuz the barbz n paps were camping out n they said my barbz r 2 'young'." She added: "And they said yesterday while I was out doing press, a fight broke out and an ambulance was called for 1 of my barbz."
The hotel did not issue a statement.
The incident is only the latest in a series of problems dogging the rapper on her visit to the British capital. As well as causing havoc at Heathrow Airport after tweeting fans with her flight times, Minaj was also forced to cancel a performance at London nightclub Runway after a fight broke out inside the venue. And after a successful gig at Watford's Oceana nightclub earlier in the week, Minaj was due to perform at Runway on Thursday night but, after circling the venue several times, it was deemed too dangerous for her to enter following the fight, the Daily Mail said.
