Priyanka Chopra 'disappointed' with her biopic makers

She entered Bollywood after becoming Miss World… And after a successful acting career she has gone on to be a successful international singer, but behind this success graph are also her struggling days. And now you will soon be able to see this struggling period on celluloid. But then Priyanka is not happy at all that a film of this nature is being made.

“I think it’s extremely disturbing and I am very disappointed in the people who are glorifying it,” says the actress.

You would have surely guessed by now that Priyanka is pretty upset with this and does not want her past to come out in public. What is that past that Priyanka does not want the world to know? The search narrows down to her ex business manager Prakash Jaju with whom she had a legal showdown a decade ago. And Jaju was also sent to jail.

The story about her struggle and initial days has been penned by Jaju himself and the film will be brought on screen by her ex boyfriend Aseem Merchant who was her first romance. The film has been titled  67 Days and new comer actress Sakshi Choudhary has been signed on to play Priyanka’s character.

Priyanka does not want to remember those days and that is the reason why she is against the film. “This particular situation makes me very angry because I know as a women what I went through and my father and my family and what upsets me is people like you and people who are going to be making this film are glorifying something which was such a painful part as a girl,” she thunders.

While on one hand while she has already made her displeasure felt about the film, On the other hand she has some advice for the filmmakers.

“It is mind blowing that I have become so big to deserve a biopic. I never thought that I am big enough to get a biopic made on me. At least when I am 40 years old, they can make a film on me. By the time I am 40, I will have a lot more achievements and controversies too,” says the actress.

What she says sounds right. After all she herself is acting in a biopic now and that too on the life of boxer Mary Kom

“I am doing a biopic on Mary Kom. She has sat with me on every scene and told me her emotions she felt when she was going through everything. So it would be extremely flattering for me if somebody made a biopic on my life,” she adds.

Priyanka perhaps want to indicate that she would like a biopic, not just on her struggle, but also on her achievements as well. But then the challenge here for Priyanka is that she will have to face this biopic’s release whether she likes it or not.
