Rapper finds Keys to marital bliss

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky weren’t the only celebrity couple getting married on Saturday. Alicia Keys found someone who calls her regularly – and married him in France.

Already pregnant, the “Fallin’” singer tied the knot with her rap producer boyfriend Swizz Beatz in a small ceremony attended by, among others, U2 frontman Bono and Queen Latifah, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The low-key event on the island of Corsica ended days of flying rumours. “It’s a brand new day:),” Beatz posted on his Twitter page. “I feel like Nas and Diddy song :) love y'all and blessing!”

Keys, who is due to give birth in November, reportedly wore a flowing white gown and headband, while Beatz, turned up in a white tuxedo and bow tie.

Keys, 29, is a seasoned performer. At the age of seven she started performing classical music on the piano. Her debut album, “Songs In A Minor” sold over 12million copies worldwide and earned her five Grammy Awards in 2002.

Keys and Beatz, whose real name is Kaseem Dean, have been dating since 2008. He recently finalised his divorce from his first wife of four years, Mishonda Tifrere, who is also the mother of one of his two children.
