Dark Knight returns: Ben Affleck's look as Batman revealed

Two more years to go before the face-off between Batman and Superman but director Zack Snyder gave us an early glimpse of the new Batman along with his Batmobile.

Director Zack Snyder just revealed the first image of Ben Affleck’s new Batman, in a black and white photo that has taken the Internet by storm.

Snyder is in Detroit preparing for the start of filming next week on the upcoming superhero team-up film Superman vs. Batman, a follow-up to 2013′s Man of Steel that rebooted Superman.

The new photo shows Affleck beside his Batmobile, which Snyder teased yesterday in a tweet of the shot that had the superhero car mostly covered in a tarp, saying that it could be time to pull the tarp off.

So everyone was expecting the Batmobile reveal today, but not the added glimpse of the batsuit.

You can expect a much bigger and full reveal of the suit, but for now Snyder has provided enough for fans to go crazy for a while. The suit appears to be the closest thing we’ve seen to the comic book suit before, with a tighter costume fit and a cowl that appears connected to the cloth of his cape.

The Batmobile is also a mix of a throwback to the old Batmobile and the newer vehicle Christian Bale used in his trilogy.
 
The movie is expected to feature Batman alongside Superman.

Affleck had gotten a lot of flack when he was cats last year, but the actor warned everyone to wait to judge until you saw.
