Deepika cried a lot for Ranbir Kapoor; feels complete in a relationship

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been on top of the box-office game, won all the awards this season, has the best of director and actors lining up to work with her.

It is possible why the media calls her the rising queen of Bollywood.

She is high on confidence and doesn't winch at questions too personal for a public gathering.

The 'Chennai Express' actress recently attended the India Today Conclave in New Delhi where she spoke about her film career and answered questions pertaining to her personal life.

Padukone, 28, who has been linked to her co-stars multiple times, said being in a relationship is the most important thing for her.

"I am completely ruled by my heart, not just relationship wise but choosing films comes straight form my heart. For me being in a relationship is I think very important."

Padukone had a highly publicised relation with Ranbir Kapoor but the two later parted ways only to reunite for their film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'.
 
With the news of Ranveer Singh-Deepika’s love affair doing the rounds, the actress did not even escape from being grilled about her past love life.

But Deepika did not shy away from answering questions regarding Ranbir Kapoor.

When asked if she has thought of getting back with Ranbir, the leggy lass of Bollywood immediately answered that she has never thought that ways, but she is happy that both she and Ranbir have transformed into a better person and have moved on.

She went on saying there were days when she had cried for Ranbir to overcome whatever happened and today she thanks him for providing her that phase.

“It made me realise I should not be so attached to one thing or a person - after the break-up the fact that I had to pick myself up. I cried a lot after my break-up. But I have become a better person and I thank him for that," said Deepika.

Deepika, who today enjoys the stature of being one of the leading actresses of Bollywood, also opened up on his ‘Ram’ aka Ranveer Singh.

When asked how would she like to elaborate on her bond with Ranveer, she boldly said that she do not want to run blindly for someone at this stage of her career and that she knows how much people are interested in knowing about her and Ranveer.
