Dubai Mall, Atlantis welcomes Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan just can't stop smiling with his latest release 'Chennai Express' steaming ahead in breakneck speed, demolishing records at the box office.

After getting the fresh taste of success, Shah Rukh is now all geared up for his upcoming film ‘Happy New Year’.

Director Farah Khan is wrapping up her television reality dance show and will fly down to Dubai to start shoot from September 1.

Farah tweeted: "Last day of shoot 4 me at DID#supermoms..will miss Marzi n @jaybhanushali0 n our lunch sessions!n of course the moms!" [sic]

With nearly 200 crew members the first schedule is all set to roll out at the famous Atlantis, The Palm Hotel & Resort. It is reported that the team is supposed to shoot for 50 days at the hotel.

Last month the director came down to Dubai along with the executive producer of Red Chillis Entertainment, Niraj Pamwani, to scout for locations and completed the technical recce.

Not just the Atlantis, the Dubai Mall, one of the world's largest shopping malls, will play host to 'Happy New Year' team.

The Dolphin Bay and the pristine beach at the Atlantis have been zeroed down by Farah. Rest of the shoot will take place mostly indoors.

‘Happy New Year’ features the blockbuster pairing of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. It also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Boman Irani in the pivotal roles.

This is the second time Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan will share screen space after Karan Johar's Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.

Farah Khan tweeted Abhishek Bachchan: "@juniorbachchan: @TheFarahKhan YAAAAAYYYY!!!"R u Ready 4 the ride juniour?!

To which the actor replied: @TheFarahKhan are YOU ready for me Farahbia?

Farah Khan has earlier delivered blockbusters like ‘Main Hoon Naa’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’ with Shah Rukh Khan and her 'Happy New Year' is one of the most talked about movies of 2014.
 
The director believes that Shah Rukh is on high after ‘Chennai Express’ and she expects him to come up with even more energy on her film’s sets.
 
While attending the Lakme fashion week Farah told reporters, “I am very happy at the success of ‘Chennai Express’. It has broken all records. Shah Rukh is the hero and producer of my film. Now he will come on the sets of my film filled with more energy and hopefully will shell out more money for my film”.
