Right so it may be a wee bit late for you to train and enrol in the marathon but there still isn’t any limit on you cheering from the sidelines and encouraging runners all the way to the finish line.
The event gets underway at 7am, with over 14,000 runners setting off from Dubai Media City. The 10km road race will kick off from outside the old Hard Rock Café building at 7am and 7.15am, while the 3km fun run will get underway at the Radisson Blu hotel at 11am.
Don’t forget, the public is advised not to access the race from the Jumeirah Beach Road, Al Sufouh Road or Al Wasl Road as they will be closed from 3am until 2pm.
