Several of the region’s most prominent artists will come together in Abu Dhabi next month to benefit Palestine’s hardest-hit children.

Salam Ya Quds, which takes place on October 28 at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, will bring together Macadi Nahas with her distinctive voice; the talented Aicha Redouane; Abir Nasraoui, whose voice pays tribute to traditional oriental musical styles; and gifted vocalist Yolla Khalife. They will be joined by celebrated poet and public figure Zahi Wehbe .

The concert is being organised by the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation. It will be staged in collaboration with the international charity A Child, A Promise, to benefit Palestinian children.

“The emirate has become an incubator of talent and creativity, so it is with honour that the region's cultural capital pays homage to Jerusalem and prays for its peace and prosperity. Salam Ya Quds is dedicated to bringing hope to the most vulnerable of children, upholding the spirit of ‘Bilad Al Khayr’ (The Land of Blessings) and the legacy of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, which is based on justice, tolerance, enlightenment and respect,” said Admaf founder Hoda Al Khamis Kanoo.

Tickets for Salam Ya Quds are now on sale on at www.timeouttickets.com and will also be available at the Admaf ticketing desk at Emirates Palace from October 20.
