Amitabh among hotel evacuees in London

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was among the guests evacuated from a London hotel as security officials feared an explosion next door.

A Tweet from the actor, who was taking a break from the production of Budda, says: "ok ... Emergency in my Hotel in London ..everyone evacuated out on the street in biting cold. Suspecting explosion in next door."

He then tweeted: "Managed to get into a car and driving away from site of emergency. Police not allowing anyone near."

The actor did not name the hotel, nor were any other details available.
