Bollywood’s hot new screen couple: Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi

R Balki is starting his next film soon and there are no prizes for guessing that Amitabh Bachchan is his choice for the leading man for his film. Balki who has already directed Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Cheeni Kum’ and ‘Paa’, has also worked with him in a series of ad films and shares a good rapport with the actor.

Balki’s wife  Gauri Shinde made her debut recently and directed Sridevi in ‘English Vinglish’, which caught on by word of mouth.  So, do we still see a chance for Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi coming together in a movie in a full length role? Bachchan did have a cameo in ‘English Vinglish’ and we want the cameo extended into a lead role opposite Sri! 

Troubled by Sonu

The next film from Prabhudeva - Rambo Rajkumar has gone on the floors without one of the prime characters Sonu Sood. We are not sure if Sonu has been replaced or not or the makers are ready to adjust without him, but the truth is that the film will suffer a big loss if they wait for him.

The shooting of the film is now under way at the scenic and serene locales of Bhuj in Gujarat and has been curtailed to just 20 days as opposed to the longer schedule that was planned earlier for the Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha starrer. But then the release date of the film has been fixed and will be on November 15 this year.

Sonu Sood injured himself playing a cricket match for Salman Khan’s team in the Celebrity Cricket League and as a result has been bed-ridden, leading to huge losses for filmmakers working with him.
