One of the longest running television reality shows in India, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has raised the standard of its show with every passing season. The show is a musical treat to those who love all forms of Indian music - classical, semi-classical, folk, etc.
The programme and its selective and talented contestants have gone a long way in promoting all kinds of Indian music.
The winner of the show, Jasraj, went home not only with the trophy but also with a bike and one-year contract with Zee TV. Despite his immense talent, he had been struggling to make his mark in the world of music.
The grand finale on Sunday was hosted by television artists Jay Bhanushali and Kapil Sharma.
The surprise guest performer of the evening was Punjabi rapper, Honey Singh, who has recently been under the scanner for controversial lyrics. He performed a medley of his hit numbers.
