The star was scared that what if he didn’t like it and would refuse to be a part of the movie. So even if it was Kiran Rao’s film, Aamir will not stop being choosy. “I am very selective about picking up any project. I do not believe in luck, rather I believe in perfection and doing extra good work,” says Aamir.
This actor has done films at his own sweet pace, releasing only one film a year. The reason being that Aamir strongly believes in presenting a variety to the audience. He says, “I don’t want to repeat myself by doing the same kind of roles or movies. I want to take up challenges that will surprise the audience. Which is why I do less films, because I want to come up with a good project by giving my 100 per cent to it.”
That is true as we have never seen Aamir do the ‘Ghajini’ act again, or there has been no ‘Mangal Pandey’ like him. And for all the success, Aamir believes in giving credit to the cast and crew. “Whenever I do a movie I always give full credit to the entire team, be it the writer, director or even a light man. I provide them extra support and help so that they get motivated and this way we get a better output,” says Aamir.
After getting the accolades for ‘Delhi Belly’, Mr Perfectionist is gearing up to work with his cousin Mansoor Khan. “I am very happy that Mansoor has agreed to work with me. He is writing the script but at this point it is too early to talk about it,” concludes Aamir.
