After the initial glitch the Railway Ministry in India has given the go-ahead for the shooting of the next James Bond film. But with a rider "no inconvenience to the passengers".

The production company Take 1, sought permission to shoot for the film on rail tracks and submitted a final list of two locations each in Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Goa on August 30. They had earlier requested for complete closure of the lines for 7-8 hours per day for seven consecutive days.

The Railway Minister did not want the services to be disrupted and this schedule will require reworking of all the train time tables.  The zonal railways have been asked to examine their requirements and get back to the ministry.

The company had been told not to disrupt traffic during shoot, passengers should not face any inconvenience and they will have to pay dues to the local railway offices in case of damages to railway property.

Other request to provide a special train and doing some work in the coaches had been approved and was not an issue with the authorities.

The shoot in these locales will start in February-March 2012, as reported in indiatoday.in.

The Railway officials were keen to be associated with the Bond film as it would get international publicity to the Indian Railways.
