The first look of superstar Rajinikanth's next project 'Kochadaiyaan' is out.
True to his words Rajini is back. Just a week back talking to reporters in Chennai, India the star said "I will be back soon".
The 60-plus southern superstar sport an eight-pack, lean, muscular look in his forthcoming “photorealistic” flick.
Daughter Sundarya R Aswin and other producers released the first look wherein the actor is seen in a martial arts posture.
The posture also resembles a dancing Shiva (Hindu God).
Rajini is seen with a regal beard and long hair for his role. He also wears an angry look on his face and the other accessories include a bead-chain and some stone-studded anklets.
Kochadaiyaan is an upcoming Tamil period film to be directed by Soundarya R Ashwin.
The film will feature Rajinikanth alongside an ensemble cast, including R Sarathkumar, Katrina Kaif, Sneha, Aadhi, Shobana, Nassar and Jackie Shroff.
The film, which is expected to be shot with motion capture in 3D, will have cinematography handled by Rajiv Menon whilst background score and soundtrack will be composed by AR Rahman.
End of January, Soundarya had tweeted that she had started working with her “appa” (father). She said that the shoot hadn’t yet begun, but work was on, full time. Releasing the first look also on Twitter, she said: “Tweeps. First look out this Sunday God is great!!!”
This is also going to be the first 3D film in India with performance capturing technology.
