Tamil superstar Rajinikanth said he would soon be back with his latest venture, 'Kochadaiyaan'.
"..will be back soon. Very soon shooting will start," Rajinikanth told reporters in Chennai.
Rajinikanth met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Friday, their first meeting after he recovered from an illness which saw him admitted to several hospitals for treatment last year.
He met her to hand over a Rs 10-lakh as contribution to the state government's Thane cyclone relief fund, reported NDTV.
The cyclone, which hit Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (Indian state) on December 30, left 48 dead and caused widespread damage to property and roads.
Rajinikanth described the meeting as a "courtesy call".
The superstar had suffered a health scare last year when he fell sick during the shoot of 'Raana', and was admitted to two hospitals in Chennai before being flown out to Singapore for treatment.
He will now act in ‘Kochadaiyaan’, directed by younger daughter Soundarya. This is also going to be the first 3D film in India with performance capturing technology.
In the latest from the team, actor Sarath Kumar has been roped in to be part of 'Kochadaiyaan'.
Sarath Kumar is quite happy that he'll soon be seen in Superstar Rajinikanth's next.
Soundarya also confirmed that Sarath kumar had been signed in and tweeted: "Hey guys ... happy to announce...its great to have Sharath Kumar uncle on board for kochadaiyaan :):) !!! work picking up pace... god speed!".
