Indian actress Asin Thottumkal and Rahul Sharma got married in an intimate Christian wedding on Jan 19 and have tied the knot as per Hindu wedding rituals in the evening.

While the Christian wedding was attended by 50 people, the second function took place in the presence of nearly 200 guests.

Asin's bridal attire for the Christian wedding was designed by Vera Wang and the actress looks gorgeous with a dapper Rahul by her side.

Delhi-based music band Elohim Worship performed 2-3 songs at the wedding.

Media entry was restricted inside Asin's wedding and reporters were seen standing outside the venue.

It is reported that Rahul had booked the entire Dusit Devrana Resorts in Delhi for the event.

The staff did not let any guest enter the premises with the invitation card.

It is also reported that the hotel would remain closed for two days.

Once the wedding got over some close friends joined the couple for a lavish lunch.

For the evening ceremony the actress looked beautiful in an ensemble designed by Sabyasachi Mukerjee from his Heritage Bridal collection.

It seemed Akshay Kumar was the lone Bollywood representative for both the weddings. It was Akshay who had introduced Rahul to Asin and played the match-maker.

The newly-weds will have a grand reception for friends and family in Mumbai on January 23.

The Kerala-born actress shot to fame down south and reached the pinnacle of popularity before she was introduced to Bollywood by AR Murugadoss in 'Ghajini', which featured Aamir Khan.

Since then, she has settled in Bollywood and has not returned to south Indian films.

Rahul is the co-founder of Micromax and is currently the CEO of the company.
