Meet Sajad Gharibi - he is known as the Persian Hercules or Iranian Hulk and quite appropriately so.

His huge frame and bulging muscles have earned him the name of Hulk or Hercules.

The 24-year-old weightlifter weighs 155 kgs and can lift up to 175 kilogrammes - no joke.

The 'Hulk' is grabbing headlines due to his huge built and massive fan following of over 94,000 on Instagram.

"As a sportsman, throughout my career, all the cost and expenses have been covered and paid from my own budget. I'm trying my best to find a sponsor," he wrote on his social networking account, thanking all the news media and people who have been publishing his story.

Since gaining a following on his social media accounts, Gharibi has quickly become an internet sensation with the public expressing their sheer amazement at his physical size.

He takes part in the powerlifting category of competitions. He has also participated in bodybuilding competitions, representing his country.

In his spare time, Sajad likes to update his followers with plenty of photos of his sculpted bod.

His Instagram account doesn’t feature the type of food and workout posts most weightlifters and workout obsessives share, instead it displays an array of gob-smacking topless photos of himself and unpretentious pictures of him going about his day to day life.

He also likes to pose with tiny objects, to show how giant he truly is.

His Facebook page says he hails from Bushehr in Khuzestan province Iran.
