Teenage star Justin Bieber spends a small fortune on the much-imitated shaggy haircut that has become the despair of mothers everywhere.
The singer, who told media this week that he still gets nervous when it comes to dates, reportedly has his hair cut for $750 (Dh2,755) a pop, according to US Life & Style magazine.
Vanessa Price, the stylist who created the 16-year-old's signature style in 2009, says she makes housecalls to Bieber to touch up her work. She told the publication: "I usually cut his hair every couple of weeks when he's on tour."
Vanessa and Bieber had no idea the haircut would become so popular. She said: "We both were shocked people cared that much about someone's hair!"
Earlier this week, the 16-year-old has confessed that despite being a global heartthrob, he was once so jittery he spilled spaghetti all over a girl, reports the Daily Star.
"There have been a few dates I've gone on that I was totally nervous about. I just try to calm down and be myself."
In other words, a teenage boy with an expensive haircut.
