Kate Hudson is expecting a baby girl with her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa, marking the pair's first child together.
The 38-year-old actress revealed the news she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend when she took to Instagram on Friday to post a video of their gender reveal party, which saw her pop open a balloon filled with pink confetti - signalling she is having a girl.
Kate - who already has sons Ryder, 14, with Chris Robinson and Bingham, six, with Matt Bellamy - wrote alongside the video: "SURPRISE!!! If you've wondered why I've been so absent on my social channels it's because I have never been more sick! It's was the most sick first trimester of all my children. Boomerangs have made me nauseous, Superzoom is an easy way to have my head in the toilet, food instagrams make me queezy and thinking too much about insta stories made me even more exhausted than I already had been. If you've seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing...I was lying! BUT! I have broken through on the other end of that and rediscovering the joys of insta/snap. We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I'm a poppin now! And it's too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way (sic)"
After the video was posted, a source claimed the 'Bride Wars' actress was thrilled by the news, as she has been trying to conceive.
They told People magazine: "They are very happy. They have been trying to get pregnant."
It comes after the 'Almost Famous' actress revealed last month that she wasn't finished expanding her brood, as she claimed she would love a little girl in the future.
She said: "I'd like to [have more children]! I'm not done yet. A girl would be fun. We'll see. We'll see how many Danny wants."
