We've now heard from two proven and impeccably connected informants that reality TV queen Kim Kardashian and grandiose pronouncement-prone hip-hop provocateur Kanye 'Yeezus' West are inches away from making a hush-hush, off-market deal to sell a nearly 10,000-square-foot Bel Air mansion they scooped up in early 2013 for $9 million, and extensively remodeled at great expense but, alas, never actually moved in to.

Last year, unsubstantiated rumors held that the couple, KimYe as they're collectively known in the tabs, wanted more than $20 million for the posh pad, and word on the Platinum Triangle real estate street is that the down-low deal - if it flies - will settle in at somewhere north of $14 million.

(UPDATE: We've since heard from a third little birdie the agreed upon price is actually $18 million.)

The property isn't listed on the open market, so few details of the couple's overhaul are publicly known, but digital resources indicate the sleekly rehabbed contemporary - prior to the renovation, it was floridly ersatz Tuscan villa - opens at the rear to a flat backyard with broad canyon views, a lushly watered sweep of lawn, newly installed swimming pool and spa, and open-air poolside cabana.

Even though Forbes estimated he raked in approximately $22 million (and she around $53 million) last year, West tweeted earlier in the month that he is, oddly and improbably enough, $53 million in debt, so this property gossip imagines he'd be thrilled to finally shed the cash-draining mansion.

Instead of setting up house in the freshly fancied Bel-Air manse, the social-media mega-mavens - he has 19-million-plus Twitter followers, she has in excess of 60 million on Instagram - opted for a bigger and brand new French Country-style behemoth of nearly 16,000 super-luxe square feet on three acres in the guard-gated and celeb-saturated Hidden Hills enclave in L.A.'s far western suburbs, a property they picked up in August 2014 for a tetch less than $20 million.

The estate, once owned by rock 'n' roll heiress Lisa Marie Presley, is conveniently just around the corner from Kardashian's mom and manager Kris Jenner's mansion.
