It’s two hours of the best in improv and stand-up comedy right here in dusty Dubai. The Laughter Factory’s monthly crop of comics features Jack Dathel, Simon B Cotter and Mitch Benn.

While the first has an ability to relate intuitively with any audience, Cotter brings slick delivery, thoughtful observations, and hysterical anecdotes on relationships, family and friendship to his set piece. But the star of the show is likely to be Liverpool-born Benn, whose musical comedy has catapulted him to superstardom. You might even know his brilliant song, “Proud of the BBC”.

The details: The trio play Courtyard by Mariott Green Community, Dubai  on Thursday and the Rainbow Room at the Aviation Club on Friday. Tickets Dh115 at the door on both nights.
