Miranda Kerr - who has a six-year-old son Flynn with former spouse Orlando Bloom - is expecting her first child with husband Evan Spiegel.

The 34-year-old model - who already has son Flynn, six, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom - and her spouse Evan Spiegel are overjoyed to be expecting their first child together.

A spokesperson told DailyMail.com: "Miranda, Evan, and Flynn are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of their family."

Miranda and Evan, 27, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in May after over two years of dating, and the former Victoria's Secret Angel revealed before they tied the knot that they weren't going to have sex until they were married because of the Snapchat founder's "traditional" views.

Speaking before they wed, she said:"I don't [use birth control]."

Asked if that means she is planning another child, she replied: "Not yet. Not until after we get married. My partner is very traditional.

"We can't... I mean, we're just... waiting."

The Australian beauty - whose due date isn't known - previously spoke of how she did her best to stay healthy during her first pregnancy.

She said: "I practiced yoga throughout my whole pregnancy and I eat really healthily and I just continued that, really. I have been working out. I've been doing resistance training and some good squats, sit-ups and all that stuff."

And she previously described being a parent as a "huge honour".

Asked about the biggest challenge of parenting, she said: "I think it's the responsibility of raising a child to be the best version of themselves. Thinking back, the sleep deprivation for the first year was pretty challenging too! But the sleepless nights were well worth it.

"Being a mother is just a huge honour. My favourite part of the day is picking Flynn up from school. Seeing his little face light up when he sees me! It is joy and love in the purest form. It's just magical seeing him grow and develop his own personality."
