A theft has taken place at Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor's bungalow in Mumbai as one of her diamond necklaces has gone missing.
The actress has registered a complaint with the local police on February 5 and they have filed a theft case against unknown persons and have begun investigations.
According to the complaint filed by Sonam, the necklace went missing after she wore it at a party on February 4 and could not find it the next day in her drawer.
She further added that the jewellery, worth approximately Rs5 lakh (INR), was given for an endorsement.

Sonam kept the necklace in a drawer in her room at 2 am, but later the same day she found it missing.
MidDay reports, the actress had been given six boxes of jewelry from a renowned jeweler for an endorsement and she wore this jewelry costing crores overall to the party.
The next day when the jeweller's representative came to collect it, she found the diamond necklace missing.
The police will also check the CCTV footage of the party that Sonam had attended to find whether she was wearing the necklace when she left the venue. Despite repeated attempts to contact her, Sonam was not available for comment.
