Priyanka Chopra - first south Asian actress to win People's Choice Award

The 'Quantico' star, Priyanka Chopra, has been the talk of the town ever since her debut in America and during the People's Choice Awards in LA the actress walked away with the award in the 'Favourite Actress in a New TV Series' category.

Her FBI trainee character on the show was an instant hit with the audience.

Immediately after winning Priyanka tweeted: "I am so fortunate!Thank U to everyone who voted for me at the #PCAs! My #PCManiacs-I am nothing without you!Big love."

The Indian actress said herself that she was nervous since it was her first nomination in another country – and we bet she's celebrating right now.

She wrote on Twitter on Jan. 5: "LA LA land bound! @peopleschoice tomorrow! Strange that I have nerves! 1st nomination in another country I guess! Wish me luck!! @QuanticoTV." She ended up winning Favorite Actress In A New TV Series!

She is also the first South Asian actress to win a PCA.

Priyanka is definitely turning heads not just with her talent but also her looks.

The stunning star looked amazing at the PCAs and is pure glamour.

The gorgeous lady is very well established in her home country of India, but is fairly new to the American public.

Priyanka Chopra, 33, made the best entrance possible by looking amazing on the red carpet and on stage during the award ceremony on Jan. 6.

Her dramatic smoky eye and up-do is not to be missed.

Her pretty makeup was done by Stephanie Barnes. Priyanka Instagrammed a photo of Stephanie’s makeup station just before the show. There were a lot of NARS and Make Up For Ever products, as well as Charlotte Tilbury 'Filmstar Bronze & Glow' Face Sculpt & Highlight palette. We also spotted some Giorgio Armani products and the super affordable Natural Palette from NYX.

Her stunning, textured up-do was done by hairstylist Castillo.

Her nails were done by manicurist Sabella Snyder, who used Caption Polish colors Rough, Tough & In The Buff.
