Hollywood insiders indicate Priyanka Chopra might be seen in a documentary which is being produced by US- based production house, Storm Productions.

The documentary is an in-depth look at the evolution of Bollywood with a specific focus on its talent as global phenomena.

Talents as diverse as Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and Irrfan Khan are now easily fusing both East and West and catering to mass audiences around the world.

The documentary will feature other Bollywood actors as well.

Storm Productions is a US-based production house that is currently developing several film and media projects with Indian partners.

"This is a film that needs to be done at this time. It's sort of a debutante story, where Bollywood is the beautiful young woman making her grand appearance on the world stage.

“Indians have always appreciated Bollywood, and now justifiably, the world will as well. It parallels quite nicely with India's coming of age and hyper-growth over the last decade along with its global ambitions," said a source close to the project.

When we contacted AJ Roy, the founder of the production house who is also directing the documentary he said, "Yes I'm working on the documentary which is a passion project.

“Having been born in India, but then raised in the West, it was very important for me to share the beauty of Bollywood with the world.

“We have approached many actors to partake in this project, and of course Priyanka tops our list as she is an international star now.

“I cannot reveal any more details on our many discussions with various actors."
