Bollywood's latest golden girl, Deepika Padukone, is on everyone's list and it's no different for ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor who has reportedly recommended her to good friend Ayan Mukherji for his upcoming superhero flick.
The superstar has apparently asked his director friend to sign his ex-girlfriend.
It seems Ranbir is keen to be paired opposite Deepika and wants to recreate the magic of their blockbuster film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' (YJHD).
He feels that the audience likes his paring with Deepika.
The two will also come together in 'Highway' director Imtiaz Ali's next venture.
What is interesting to note is that Ayan is also a close friend of Ranbir's present girlfriend Katrina Kaif. In fact her camp claims that she was his first choice for YJHD.
However, Kat refused to do the film due to date issues.
Now Ranbir's request has left Ayan in a tight position as he will have to choose between Katrina and Deepika.
However, it doesn't look like Ranbir has any difficulty in choosing his leading lady.
After all, Katrina reached stardom thanks to her angelic face and item numbers.
And as for Deepika Padukone, she has proved her mettle as an actor and star power with back to back super hits.

The buzz around Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor refuses to die down.
We heard about there being trouble in paradise after which there was news about reconciliation.
Now news reports suggest that Katrina might be joining Ranbir for a break in Sri Lanka.
Ranbir flew down to Lanka for his next schedule of Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet' also starring Anushka Sharma.
Following their break-up rumours, this outing will ease down the ruffled feathers for the love-birds.
Katrina also accompanied Ranbir during the first schedule of the shoot and the paparazzi caught a glimpse of the two together.
The Kapoor boy is clear whom he wants to work with and date!
