Renee Zellweger has reportedly agreed to star in a third Bridget Jones movie but producers have promised the actress won't have to bulk up like she did for the previous two films.
Zellweger famously piled on the kilos to play the unlucky-in-love Jones but, according to British newspaper The Sun, will feature at the start of the third movie standing on the scales, having reached her target weight.
The first two films were based on author Helen Fielding's books Bridget Jones's Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.
Fielding wrote about Jones' further adventures in columns in The Independent in 2005.They featured her having relationship problems with uptight human rights lawyer Mark Darcy after discovering she was pregnant by her ex-boss Daniel Cleaver.
British star Hugh Grant has reportedly signed on to continue his role as Cleaver, while Oscar-winner Colin Firth, who plays Darcy , has expressed interest in a third film.
