Richard Branson drops in, finds staff asleep

Can you imagine being caught napping on your desk while the global CEO drops in at work?
 
The head honcho of Virgin, Richard Branson had popped in at Virgin Australia HQ at Sydney Airport to meet cabin crew, reports Metro.

The bearded millionaire was quoted as saying: ‘I love to get out there and meet the people that make our brand shine. Maybe it’s the glorious Southern Hemisphere sun or the salty sea air, it seems like our Aussie team members permanently wear infectious smiles.’

Then he stumbled upon the sleeping staff member.

Branson resorted to humour: ‘This guy wasn’t up to much at all – I caught him sleeping on the job! Wow, did he get a shock when I woke him up.

‘He must have thought he was dreaming because he went straight back to sleep.’

Branson won his employees' hearts when he added: ‘To be fair, he was on standby, getting some much needed rest.’
