Salman Khan might marry a foreigner; auctions his shirt
From 'Maine Pyar Kiya' to 'Jai Ho', Salman has given at least one shirtless scene in his every movie. And every time he took his clothes off audiences (specially female fans) couldn't be more pleased.
And it was a repeat telecast of sort when Khan attended the last session of India Today Conclave in New Delhi and auctioned his shirt.
Bollywood actor Salman Khan was in his element during the session.
He spoke candidly, danced, sang and even agreed to auction his shirt for charity.
Salman, appearing for the first time at the Conclave, said he was tired of being single for two-and-a-half years and said "something soon will happen in my life".
The 48-year-old 'Jai Ho' star, who was at his funniest best, did not rule out the chances of marrying Romanian beauty lulia Vantur, whom he is allegedly dating for quite some time.
"I follow humanity. I follow Islam, Christianity, and follow right thing as much I can. I have been kind of blessed. Father is Pathan, mother is Hindu, second mother is catholic, and brother-in-law is Punjabi. Wife, I am thinking to bring from outside...," Salman quipped.
The session also saw Salman the singer. He hummed a line from "Teri meri prem kahani hai muskhil, do lafzon main bayan na ho paye" (Bodyguard).
And then the guests witnessed Salman dancing with a towel!
However, Salman did not make his fans wait for what he does best – remove his shirt. Without batting an eyelid Salman Khan auctioned his shirt on the stage.
He agreed to take his shift off to fund toilets for women. The audience donated generously and also pledged to build toilets to be built by Jack Sim, founder of Restroom Association of Singapore and World Toilet Organisation.
At 48, Salman Khan is believed to have the best physique in Bollywood and according to eyewitnesses present the actor looks younger day by day.
His shirtless avatars are highly popular amongst his fans and he obliges with at least one shirtless shot in every movie.
When the bidding was on in the conclave audience suggested that instead of auctioning his shirt Salman could auction 'hugs' which might generate more fund.
Salman was delighted with the idea and agreed to auction hugs.
But host Koel Purie Rinchet insisted on auctioning his shirt. A bidder went up to Rs 2 lakh (INR) for Salman's shirt but was countered by another with Rs 5 lakh (INr) to keep his shirt on.
After the was money raised for the good cause, Salman indulged the audience for their generosity by giving a sneak peek of his chiseled body and ensured commitment from the guests.
