Salman’s double whammy

How will Salman Khan report simultaneously to the shootings for his films?

Come June and two of Salman Khan’s producers – The Barjatyas as well as Boney Kapoor will be wondering how to accommodate the Khan’s shooting schedule.

Salman Khan has to shoot for the Sooraj Barjatya directed film for a good 200 days in and out and the shooting of the Boney Kapoor film ‘No Entry Mein Entry’ which is the sequel to ‘No Entry’ directed by Anees Bazmee is also locked in at the same time.

Salman perhaps has forgotten that he has only one date diary and he can be present at one place at one time only… unless of course there are two Salman Khans like we are told that he has a double role in the Barjatya film.

Jokes apart, Salman had already allotted the dates to Barjatya, but then Boney Kapoor, who is one of the most influential producers in Bollywood, having revived Salman’s career with ‘Wanted’ insisted that Khan allocate dates to him around the same period and on certain dates, he could possibly get Salman do double shifts and shoot for both films.

But then not many actors are very good and successful in shooting double shifts. Amitabh Bachchan for one, is a master. He was shooting the climax of ‘Deewar’ in Mumbai at nights, taking a morning flight to Bangalore and shooting for Ramesh Dippy’s ‘Sholay’ in Ramanagaram. Both films went on to be classics.

One cannot expect the same of Salman, whose friend Govinda often messed up all his films shooting double and even triple shifts at times.

Salman, however, has sought old friend Sooraj Barjatya’s permission for the same. Sooraj had launched Salman in ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’ and then cast him in the epochal ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’.

“I don’t know how Salman is going to manage but we have his dates and our film ‘No Entry Mein Entry’ is going on floors from June. He will be shooting simultaneously for the two films,” confirms Anees Bazmee.

While Salman has a double role in the Barjatya film, he is slated to have ten actresses opposite him in ‘No Entry Mein Entry’ and we are sure that Salman would have loved the idea to romance so many women at one go.
