The children of US President Barack Obama literally grew up right before our very eyes.

From being two chatty, giggling kids, Malia Obama and Sasha Obama has turned out to be sophisticated and graceful young ladies.

Malia and Sasha easily stole the show Thursday night at a state dinner at the White House.

It was their first time attending, and we can assure you - all eyes were on them.

President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's daughters looked all grown up, wearing gorgeous gowns and sophisticated hairdos for the big event.

Each girl wore a striking embroidered Naeem Khan gown, worth nearly $20,000 apiece.

Malia, 17, slayed in a strapless blush gown with a sweetheart neckline and overall crystal beading, and wore her hair down in waves and had it swept to one side.

Her younger sister, 14, oozed maturity and went a little bolder with her plaited updo, choker and merlot-colored gown appliqué ballgown in shades of cranberry, turquoise, black and beige.

It's a lovely parallel to their equally stylish mother, who also wore the Indian-American designer (Naeem Khan) for her first state dinner in 2009.

But there is something else everyone is talking about.

People are obsessed with this picture of Sasha meeting 'Deadpool' super handsome Ryan Reynolds.

While Sasha had a fangirl moment and was all over the Canadian hottie, Malia give her Sasha some sisterly encouragement. That's some sibling goals.
