After the stupendous response to Krrish 3 which grossed around Rs 2500 million at the Indian box office apart from the international collections, producer and director Rakesh Roshan immediately wanted to start off on the fourth part in the series that started off 11 years ago with Koi Mil Gaya. He then tried to put up a series of story ideas on how to make the forth part bigger than Krissh 3 as well.
One would have felt that the Roshans would have tried to get into the act quickly to come out with the next edition, but it was not just the lack of a great idea on the next instalment that prevented them from moving ahead, but the fact that Roshan Sr found a fabulous script to make. “Rakeshji has got a great idea and a script to make his next film on. Hrithik has also liked the idea. Rakeshji always bounces off ideas to Hrithik, because Roshan Jr is very spontaneous in his response. He reacts like an audience and proves to be a great bouncing board to Rakeshji. Sometimes Hrithik himself comes up with some mind boggling ideas for films,” says a source close to the Roshans.
The new story idea that Rakesh Roshan has got is not about a superhuman or a supernatural character, but a common man who is a hero by his deeds. “Rakeshji who has loved the storyline wants to make the film first and then he will start working on the next part of Krrish. For the next film with Rakeshji, Hrithik will not be Krrish,” says the source.
Hrithik Roshan is currently shooting in New Delhi for the Fox Star film Bang Bang with Katrina Kaif and will be shooting in the Indian capital for the next few days as well. Thankfully this time around, he has been using a body double to ensure that he does not get hurt like that last time leading to a series of complications, a lot of rest and a surgery as well in the process.
Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai by Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan was a super entertainer and we hope that Sr Roshan manages to make a film similar to that one.
