TV break-ups: Karan Patel, Kamya; Divyanka, Ssharad Malhotra

Indian television couple Divyanka Tripathi and Ssharad Malhotra's relationship came under the media scanner recently.

Divyanka Tripathi, of Ye Hai Mohababtein fame, and actor Ssharad Malhotra have decided to part ways. It had taken the couple seven years to admit to their relationship.

The popular star couple rose to fame from their on screen chemistry in the hit television show 'Banoo Main Teri Dulhan'.

After their show wrapped up, Ssharad went ahead to try his luck in Bollywood and avoided doing television shows and Divyanka continued with the medium that made her a household name as Ishita Bhalla.

"The decision of calling off the relationship is mutual. We had a beautiful journey and the loveliest memories are helping us part ways cordially. Yet, it's a painful process and speculations only increase the pain. We request the media to be considerate. This is the final word on this subject and we won't be talking about what went wrong in our relationship. We believe it wasn't destined to last," said their joint statement to the media.

It is reported that Ssharad was cheating on Divyanka.

What's worse is that Divyanka was hoping to settle down with her boyfriend of seven years.

In another shocking development, Karan Patel aka Raman of 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' has left his lady love Kamya Punjabi to marry Ankita Bhargava in May.

Ankita is the daughter of Abhay Bhargava, Karan's on-screen father-in-law.

There was a lot of talk about Karan Patel and Kamya Punjabi's relationship even though they had maintained the 'just friends' answer for all questions.

Kamya was married to Bunty Negi. The two even have a daughter. However, their marriage did not last after which Kamya and Karan started dating.

These reports  of separation comes close on the heels of TV actors' Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget's decision to end their marriage.
