Eight-year-old 'India's Got Talent' prodigy Akshat Singh struck it big on his first visit to the US.
Akshat's dance video imitating Bollywood star Salman Khan on 'India’s Got Talent' not only captured the attention of CNN and Good Morning America, but one of the producers from The Ellen DeGeneres Show also invited the young star to appear on the talk show after noticing the viral video.
The pint-sized Salman Khan fan made his debut on Ellen riding a toy motorcycle and dressed in an Indian police outfit, emulating the main character and his idol in the Bollywood movie 'Dabangg'.
After the music began, the 8-year-old broke out into handstands, flips and his signature pelvic-thrusting dance moves that first caught the attention of his fans.
By the time he finished stylishly doing the splits, the audience was on its feet clapping and cheering loudly.
Akshat, a resident of Kolkata and semi-finalist on India's Got Talent, flew to USA last week after being invited onto the show
